Voter suppression through misinformation disproportionately targets Black voters. It was well established by research coming out of the 2016 election that Black voters were the single largest group targeted by agents of disinformation (foreign and domestic) and, because of their power in the 2020 outcome, would be even more vulnerable this election.

The solve

The solve

More Than a Vote partnered with Win Black to create a totally unique and effective campaign to educate Black voters. Using MTAV’s celebrity, creativity, and cultural relevance and Win Black’s connectivity with activists and local organizations, we created stories and content that reached Black voters. Shareable, digital, and most importantly, from trusted members of the community, More Than a Vote created a new way to educate.
